Thirimanne guides Sri Lanka to resounding win

Sri Lanka won the 2nd ODI by 8 wickets with nearly 10 overs to spare,against Australia at Adelaide Oval.Lahiru Thirimanne struck his first one-day century(102 not out) as Sri Lanka levelled the one-day series.
Opener Tillakaratne Dilshan (51) and unbeaten Lahiru Thirimanne  (102) recovered from the early loss of Upul Tharanga (0) in a match-winning 137-run stand as Sri Lanka finished 2/172.

Kushal janith  Perera remained not out 14 with Thirimanne who posted a maiden ton.
The teams next meeting in Brisbane on Friday.
Australia will look forward to the return of rested captain Michael Clarke and opener David Warner, with several issues to address ahead of Friday’s third game in Brisbane.
