Sri Lanka Women beat Netherlands Women by 33 runs on Duckworth/Lewis Method in the semi-final of the IIC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier played at Dublin on Monday (29).

Sri Lanka put into bat made 157-6 in 19 overs after the game was affected by rain. 

Deepika Rasangika top scored for Sri Lanka with a 50-ball 47 while Eshani Kaushalya made an explosive 33not out off 16 balls inclusive of two fours and a six.

Netherlands, chasing a revised target of 85 runs in nine overs made 51-4.

Chandima Gunaratne, Sandamali Dolawatte and Sashikala Siriwardene claimed a wicket each.

Sri Lanka will now play Pakistan in the final of the tournament on Wednesday (31) in Dublin.
