Secretary to the Ministry of Defense and Urban Development Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa will officiate today the launch of Cinnamon Air. The launch on a first Amphibian Aircraft will take place at the Water's Edge Hotel. The amphibian aircraft is being launched in Sri Lanka by Cinnamon Air on a codeshare with Sri Lankan Airlines to run on schedule from the Bandaranaike International Airport providing convenience and reliability for the traveler and generate much value for local and international customers.

Cinnamon Air is a domestic Airline offering daily schedule flights from Bandaranaike International Airport to the island’s most picturesque locations in the country. These flights provide a bird’s eye view of the country while significantly cutting down surface travel time. Cinnamon Air is a subsidiary of the John Keells Holdings.
