Kandurata Maroons qualify for 2013 Champions League Twenty20
Kandurata Maroons defeated Basnahira Greens by 7-wicket in Sri Lanka cricket inter province Twenty20 tournament 2013 (Super Fours Twenty20) played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.The victory ensured them a berth in the Champions League T20 to be played in India in September 2013.
After wining toss Basnahira Greens posted total 109/7, skipper Angelo Mathews hitting an unbeaten 53 off 49 balls while his team mates failed to impress. Nuwan Kulasekara picked three wickets for the Maroons was adjudged the man-of-the-match.
Allrounder Kosala Kulasekara who turned out for the Greens was named as the man-of-the-tournament.
