| Sri Lanka allocates Rs.150 billion for health in 2014 |
The Treasury of Sri Lanka will allocate Rs.150 billion for the health budget in 2014, a Health Ministry said.Last year, the Treasury allocated Rs. 125 billion for the health budget. The health budget has been gradually increased during the past few years.Every year, around Rs. 25 billion more is allocated for the health budget than the previous year increasing funds allocated to maintain and develop the health sector in Sri Lanka, Ministry said.
