Anuruddha Padeniya re-elected as GMOA head

Dr. Anurudda Padeniya has been re-elected as the President of the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) at the election held June 28 of 2014. 

Dr. Padeniya had received over 95% of the total votes during the election of the 88 year old association. 

Dr. Lasantha Jinadasa has been elected as the Secretary while Dr. Nath Wijesooriya was elected Treasurer of the GMOA, which boasts a membership exceeding 16000.
