Tickets must be booked online at Omanair.com and payment of the discounted fare must be made using a Bank Muscat Oman Air Credit Card.

The Bank Muscat Oman Air co-branded Credit Card was launched in September 2013 at a ceremony attended by His Excellency Darwish bin Ismail Al Balushi, the Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs, and the Chairman of Oman Air, also AbdulRazak Ali Issa, Chief Executive of Bank Muscat.

This card allows customers to benefit from a world of exclusive privileges and benefits, including membership of Oman Air’s Sindbad frequent flyer programme. Notably, benefits accrue on all card transactions, and for every Omani Rial spent on the card, cardholders are rewarded with the addition of two miles to their Sindbad account. The accumulated miles can be redeemed for Oman Air tickets and flight upgrades.

Sindbad membership is available at three levels: Blue, Silver and Gold. Each level reflects the number of air miles accrued during the customer’s membership, and all levels are eligible for a range of benefits. With a large, and growing, list of partners, Sindbad members can earn miles by booking hotels or hire cars, shopping at Muscat Duty Free, or even learning a new language.

As privileged Sindbad members, Bank Muscat Oman Air Credit Card holders are entitled to earn and accumulate Sindbad Miles on all card transactions and enjoy fast-tracking to Sindbad Silver Tier membership. Cardholders are also among a select few eligible for upgrade to the World’s Best Business Class Airline Seat, and they receive regular exclusive offers through Oman Air and their leading merchant and retailer partners. The card is accepted worldwide, enables secure online shopping, and provides free travel protection insurance and 24 hour customer care.
