Assistant coach of the Sri Lanka

Former Sri Lankan most technically batsmen Marvan Atapattu has been named  the Assistant coach of the Sri Lankan National Cricket team in addition to his duties as the batting coach of the team,SLC officials said.The move followed Monday’s appointment of Michael de Zoysa as the new team manager.

The right-handed opening batsman who played 90 Tests and 268 ODIs for Sri Lanka had been serving as the batting coach since the end of the 2011 World Cup.
