Sangakkara and Six players nominated in three categories at LG ICC Awards

Sri lankaKumar sangakkara is among six players nominated in three categories for
the International Cricket Council awards 2012.

Sri Lankatop order batsmen and wicket keeper Kumar Sangakkara has been nominated in multiple
categories – Cricketer of the Year, Test Cricketer of the Year and ODI
Cricketer of the Year.

KumarSangakkara, Lasith Malinga, Ajantha Mendis, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Lahiru
Thirimanne and Dinesh Chandimal have been named in a long-list of nominees for
this year’s LG ICC Awards (2012)

The ICC 2012awards ceremony is scheduled for 15 September 2012 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The LG ICCAwards ceremony is now in its ninth year and this year it will be held on
September 15 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Previous ceremonies were held in London
(2004 and 2011), Sydney (2005), Mumbai (2006), Johannesburg (2007 and 2009),
Dubai (2008) and Bengaluru (2010).
