Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh at Mahinda Rajapaksa Football Trophy
Sri Lanka under 23 soccer team won their second match against Bangladesh and kept their chances alive in qualifying for the finals of the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Soccer Tournament-2012 organized by the Minister of Sports and the Football Federation of Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka played against Bangladesh with hopes of survive in the series.
The match was well balanced between both teams at the first half of the game, none of teams were able to score a goal. Eranda Prasad delivered a goal at 71st minute of the match and it was the only goal scored during the match.
Sri Lanka failed to start with a win at the opening day of the tournament against Maldives. Sri Lanka lost their game 3-0 . Pakistan won the second game of the commencing day by 1-0 against Bangladesh.
