Sri Lanka’s first satellite launch on 27

The new date has been set for 27 November 2012 

Sri Lanka’s maiden first satellite launch that was postponed due to unfavorable weather and technical difficulties will be launched tomorrow(27), the government news unit said. 
The new date has been set for 27 November 2012 with the launch center being from Xi Chang,in China.

It was earlier reported by E-Lankanews ,that the total investment for the project is estimated at 320 million U.S. dollars.
This amount includes the construction of a satellite Content
Management Station and a Space Academy in Sri Lanka’s central town
Kandy.
