DFCC Vardhana Bank opens fully fledged branch in Welimada

DFCC Vardhana Bank (DVB), Sri Lanka’s fastest growing commercial bank expands its network with its most recent branch opening in Welimada, a town in the Badulla district. The ceremonial opening of the new DVB branch took place on Thursday the 16th of October 2014 and was attended by Lakshman Silva, Chief Executive Officer, DFCC Vardhana Bank along with DVB’s senior management and staff.

DVB has previously been in operation for five years in Welimada and was located at the post office premises.  The opening of the new branch now allows a fully-fledged commercial banking service to the area that will strengthen relationships, while building new ones with the people and business in Welimada. Located at No. 15, Nuwaraelliya Road, Welimada will provide support and allow better access to quick and efficient banking facilities. The banking services offered will include savings and current accounts, personal loans, housing loans, education loans, vehicle leasing, gold jewellery pawning loans, business loans, LCs, foreign currency products such as NRFC, RFC and NNRFC and money transferring via Western Union and online banking services, a 24/7 call centre and access to over 500 ATMs through its own and partner ATM networks which allow unlimited withdrawals at zero cost.
