West Indies beat Australia by 74 runs

West Indies will meet Sri Lanka on Sunday

West Indies beat Australia by 74 runs in the second semi-final of the T20 world cup 2012.

West Indies qualified for the final of the ICC T20 World Cup , they will meet Sri Lanka at R. Premadasa Stadium,colombo on 7th October 2012.

After winning the toss  West Indies captain Sammy decided to bat first and  scored 205 for 4 wickets.
West Indies Opener Chris Gayle top scored for 75 off 41 balls while Kieron Pollard chipped in with 38 off just 15 balls.
West Indies hit 13 fours and 14 sixes in their innings.

In reply, Australia only managed to get 131 runs while Ravi Rampaul picked up 3 wickets for 16 runs. 
The Australia captain Bailey smashed 63 from 29 balls.

West Indies Opener Chris Gayle was named the Man of the Match.
