Sri Lanka beat hosts West Indies by 39 runs in the rain-shortened Tri-Nation Series. West Indies won the toss in the two-day match and set Sri Lanka to bat Sunday and with the rain intervening after the 19th over the match was pushed to the reserve day. However, the rain at the beginning of today's session also restricted the match to 41 overs and Sri Lanka started from where they left off yesterday at 60 for 3.Kumar Sangakkara scoring 90 set a formidable target of 230 in 41 overs for the West Indies.
