| Bombay Velvet film begins shooting at Ranminitenna Tele Cinema Park |
"Bombay Velvet"
Shooting commenced on the Indian movie "Bombay Velvet" starring Indian actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in Sri Lanka.The movie will be filmed at Sri Lanka's Ranminitenna Mahinda Rajapaksa National Tele Cinema Park in Hambantota district and it is the first foreign film to be filmed at the Tele Cinema Park.
"I was looking for a suitable location for the movie for about nine years and finally found the perfect location right next door in Sri Lanka."Director of the Bombay Velvet movie Anuradh Kashyap said at a media conference held Friday in Colombo
the shootings will also be carried out in Colombo, Galle and Pasikuda,he added.
