| Sri Lanka extends deadline for Delegate and Media Registration for CHOGM 2013 |
The deadline for registration for both delegates and media professionals to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2013 in Colombo has been extended, the Task Force Secretariat for CHOGM 2013 said.
Access to all CHOGM 2013 meeting and event venues will be controlled by accreditation passes which will be issued to accredited persons on arrival in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Media accreditation is open to journalists, editors, photographers, sound and camera crews, technical staff attached to media organizations and freelance media professionals.
Media accreditation will allow access to the main Media Centre within the main conference center - Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) - in Colombo and all sub-media centers at all other CHOGM venues. It will also allow the use of the facilities within the Centre as well as media pool opportunities.
Media accreditation is being coordinated by the Subcommittee on Media of the CHOGM 2013 Taskforce Secretariat.
