Kumar Sangakkara continued his awesome batting form in Bangladesh as Sri Lanka won the second one-dayer by 61 runs in Dhaka to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Chasing a huge target of 290 runs in the 2nd OD1, Bangladesh were all out for 228 runs in 43 overs, despite of a captain’s knock of 79 runs off 83 balls by Mushfiqur Rahim with that featured five fours and two sixes.

Besides, opener Anamul Haque (42), all rounder Shakib Al Hasan (24), middle order Nasir Hossain (22), lower order Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (17) and one down Mominul Haqu (15) were other notable scorers for Bangladesh reaching the double figures.

Earlier, a brilliant 17th century by Kumar Sangakkara guided Sri Lanka to score a comfortable 289 runs for 6 in stipulated 50 overs against hosts Bangladesh in the 2nd match of the three-match ODI series.
