Visa Inc. recently presented People’s Bank with the ‘Outstanding Achievement for Debit Portfolio Growth in Sri Lanka’ award at the Visa India and South Asia Client Forum – 2015, which was held in Goa, India.
VISA members from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and the Maldives
attended the prestigious event and People’s Bank was represented by K.B.
Rajapaksha (Deputy General Manager – Commercial Credit & SME) and Kapila
Wijewardena (Chief Manager – Card Centre), who received the award on behalf of
the bank. Visa Inc. is a
global payments technology company that connects consumers, businesses,
financial institutions, and governments in more than 200 countries and
territories enabling them to use electronic payments instead of cash and cheques.
