RPC Polymers Pvt Ltd, manufacturers of polystyrene
products under the Rigifoam brand recently celebrated 50 successful years of
operations. A sub-brand within the Arpico family, the local market leader and
international business entity celebrated the milestone with an event held at
the Blue Waters, Wadduwa attended by its island-wide dealer network.
Speaking on the anniversary, Mr. Sunil Liyanage, Managing
Director, Local Manufacturing and Distribution Sector explained, “Arpico
Rigifoam has established itself over the last half century as the benchmark in
the polystyrene product industry. It has evolved into a household name with
most Sri Lankans referring to Styrofoam products as Rigifoam.

“In addition to developing our local network and
enhancing our brand portfolio, we have also expanded and now serve the export
sector as well. Our commitment to the Sri Lankan market however, remains

believe in sourcing and producing locally and thereby contributing positively
