Sri Lankan spinner Ajantha Mendis was was bought by Mumbai Indians for a sum of US$ 725,000 at the IPL 2013 auction conducted in Chennai.Australian allrounder Glenn Maxwell was the biggest earner at the IPL 2013, attracting a price tag of $1million from Mumbai Indians. |

The other big winners were Thisara Perera and Abhishek Nayar($675,000), Dirk Nannes ($600,000), Jaydev Unadkat ($525,000) and Manpreet Gony ($500,000).
