Oman Air has celebrated the contribution made by staff in its Services Delivery Unit towards the airline’s success during 2013. The Unit, which includes Airport Operations in both in Oman and overseas as well as  Ground Operations, Catering, Work shop, Ramp services and Cargo, is responsible for much of the ‘behind the scenes’ work which ensures that flights depart on time and that passengers enjoy a seamless  experience.

Wayne Pearce commented:
“On behalf of the Board of Directors of Oman Air and my Senior Management team, I would like to express our thanks for the outstanding efforts and commitment of staff within the company’s Services Delivery Unit throughout 2013. Over the course of the year, Oman Air increased frequencies on many routes, carried more passengers to more destinations than ever before and recorded a superb industry high on-time performance of just under 90% for 2013 with an exceptional May, when we achieved 100% on-time performance throughout our network. None of this could have been achieved without the hard work and dedication of our Services Delivery Unit and it has been a pleasure to honour them at today’s event.”
