The annual Cannes Lions Predictions event, a preview of the best in class of entries for Cannes Lions 2014, will be held on Tuesday 11 June, 2014. Cannes Lions is the world's biggest annual awards show and festival for professionals in the creative communications industry. This year, the festival will be held for the 61st time from 15 – 21 June 2014 in Cannes, France.  

The Cannes Predictions event is held globally by Leo Burnett offices across the world to share prospective Cannes Lions winners with the marketing communications industry. The predictions reel is curated in Chicago under the direction of Mark Tutssel, Global Chief Creative Officer, Leo Burnett Worldwide. This Cannes Predictions reel is distributed annually to network offices for use at the predictions events. This year the reel showcases 25 of the best marketing communication campaigns shortlisted at Cannes. The campaigns are selected from hundreds of entries by an exclusive and elite team of creative directors, executive directors, integrated experts and senior planners from all over the world. The significance of the Cannes Predictions event is that in the past more than 90 percent of the Cannes Predictions contenders have won Cannes Lions.

In Colombo, the Cannes Lions Prediction event 2014 will be held on Tuesday, 11 June  2014, at 7:00 pm at the 80 Club Colombo, 25 Independence Avenue, Colombo 7. The special screening is organized by the International Advertising Association (IAA), the Metal Factor, Liora Events and Leo Burnett. The Cannes Predictions event will showcase the best in advertising from around the world and will provide a sneak preview of this year’s Cannes Lions 2014 contenders. The event is open to anyone interested in advertising. It will be of immense value to professionals from the fraternity, short film directors, professionals from recording studios and production houses, as well as professionals and students from the marketing industry who are keen to observe the latest trends and best advertising work from around the world.
