Digital
technology leader, Samsung Electronics recently launched the Samsung Curved UHD
TV which provides the ultimate immersive viewing experience. Samsung’s Curved
TV range provides a wider field of view and offers resolution that is four
times greater than FHD TVs.
Commenting on Samsung’s latest innovation, H. K. Samsung’s
Curved UHD TV also offers twice the enhanced contrast ratio of a flat screen
and has a curve of 4,200 radii, making it the most curved TV in the world,
capable of delivering the best viewing experience available in the market. Until now TV technology had not been able to completely
resolve natural distortion caused by the human eye. Early TVs with concave
screens created curves that could not improve the distortion. Later, flat
screen TVs were introduced, these significantly reduced much of the distortion
the human eye sees, but did not completely eliminate it. The Samsung Curved UHD
TV dramatically reduces natural distortion experienced by the viewer and is
able to offer a comfortable, more wholesome and complete viewing experience
which is setting a new standard in the TV industry.
Curved technology is created on the principle that a curved screen can provide more uniformity than a traditional flat screen. Having been a market leader for decades, Samsung realized that there was a need for a different approach to TV technology and developed the optimal screen curvature of 4200R which provides the best levels of image quality and uniformity.
Samsung’s Curved UHD TV provides a greater feeling of depth by combining the benefits of its curved form with Samsung’s proprietary picture quality technology which includes the ‘Auto Depth Enhancer’ (ADE) as a key feature. ADE analyses images and automatically adjusts contrast for a greater feeling of depth which also provides more effective viewing in 3D. Samsung’s Curved UHD TVs deliver a vivid and visual experience which enables viewers to enjoy life-like viewing.
