The competition aims to encourage website owners and developers to improve the quality of their sites. The entries were judged on creativity, quality of graphic design, artistry, technological expertise and the quality of the content made available to users. DFCC and DVB re-launched their website in September 2012 along with Sinhala and Tamil options to ensure all spheres of society would have access to their information. Featuring a refreshing and user friendly interface, the DFCC and DVB website integrates the services of both banks to provide a fully-fledged online service. This award winning website was also recognized in last year’s competition and won the gold award in the Overall Corporate Category and a silver and bronze award for the Sinhala and Tamil websites respectively.
