DFCC Partners the Small & Medium Industrial Development Exhibition by the IDB

DFCC, the country’s leading development bank partnered with the Industrial Development Board (IDB) as  bronze sponsor for the Small and Medium Industrial Development Exhibition (SMIDEX), which was held from the 23rd to 25th May 2014.
In order to celebrate their 45th anniversary, IDB is introduced SMIDEX as its foremost to showcase local SMIs with a specialised sector specific technology, machinery, raw materials and business development and other services facilities. SMIDEX “Taking Sri Lanka to the next era of Industrialisation” was the theme of the event this year. A large number of existing domestic and international players to showcased innovative products, services and technologies. DFCC Bank involvement with SMIDEX was in view of building  & understanding of supporting the Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) sector towards the countries economy with not only the financial assistance but also with the capacity of the expert knowledge in different industries the Bank has gained by operating for about six decades.
